MORRISONVILLE — Charlotte M. Blake, 73, of Route 22B, Morrisonville and formerly of Schuyler Falls, died unexpectedly, Friday, May 16, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Schuyler Falls, Nov. 25, 1940, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Martino) Martineau. She grew up in Schuyler Falls and attended Peru Central School.
Charlotte worked for Print Pad in Plattsburgh for many years prior to retiring in 2001. She enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, and playing bingo.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Cindy and Christopher LaPorte, Penny and Brad Barton, Susan and Ricky Anderson, and John and Jen Blake; siblings, Vernon and Beatrice Martineau, Mrs. and Mrs. Herman Martineau, and Betty and Jerry LaLonde; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Eugene R. Blake; son, Kevin Blake, grandsons, James Anderson, and Dale Blake; and sister, Madeline Liberty.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m., Monday, May 19, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Burial will be held at a later date in the Schuyler Falls Cemetery.
