Paula Fried Woolman

May 14, 2014

MIAMI, FLA. — Paula Fried Woolman, not a day under 30, from Miami, Fla., joined her previously departed beloved Scott on May 14, 2014. Paula also joined her previously departed parents, June and Bern Fried and father in-law, Bernard Woolman.

Paula leaves behind her daughters, Jennifer (Martha) Woolman and Johanna (Robert) Woolman-Kirby; her grand-children, Aaron Idiaquez, Samantha Idiaquez, Stephanie Kirby, and Evan Kirby; Brother, Mark Fried; and her mother in-law, Evelyn Woolman. Paula also leaves behind many children and grandchildren of propinquity and loved friends.

Paula was an amazing woman who lived her life the way she wanted to live it "I'll do it my way". Paula was very proud of growing up as part of the Aibel/Fishman Family Clan and continued to stay very close with many cousins. Paula did a lot of first throughout her life, she was the first women to be allowed past a union line, she owned many different corporations through her life both in N.Y. State and in Miami Fla., including being the first women owner of a Magnavox Home Entertainment center in which one year she was awarded the highest selling company of Magnavox products.

Paula was very involved in a variety of different volunteer organizations and philanthropic organizations throughout the years. Paula was a Prima Ballerina, Guitarist, Flutist, Pianist; she had a love for music and shared her love with others through the dance and music classes she taught at the Jewish Community Center. Paula was always extremely involved with her love of Judaism and her synagogue, Bet Breira Samu-El Or Olom, and served on the Board of Directors. She taught religious school in Plattsburgh, N.Y., & Miami, Fla.

Paula was the problem solver that everyone could and would turn to in order to come up with a workable solution to their problem. Paula was not afraid to speak her mind, including having in-depth conversations and discussions with individuals within both business and religious topics that others might be timid to approach. Paula would never give advice unless she was certain that the information she was giving you was correct. Paula believed in living life to the fullest. She would always have a smile on her face when she was interacting with others in order to help mak

Paula was an extremely patriotic person whose favorite holiday was July 4th so, for those that knew her, loved her and was loved by her when you hear a patriotic song or see the American flag waving in the wind, that's Paula saying hello and sending you love.
