PERU — Robert Paul "Bob" Davidson, 47, of the Bear Swamp Road, Peru, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Plattsburgh, Oct. 5, 1965, the son of John "Dewey" and Lucille T. (Martin) Davidson.
Bobby grew up in Peru and graduated from Peru Central High School in 1983. He was employed for many years with local business. In his spare time he enjoyed watching people, especially from his perch on the 6th floor at CVPH.
Survivors include his mother, Lucille Davidson of Peru; sisters, Teri Hart of Peru and Jim Wilson of Lyon Mountain, and Carol Dufford and her husband Paul of Tega Cay, S.C.; and nephews, Sgt. Erick Hart USMC and his wife Lori Babbie-Hart of Richlands, N.C., Matthew Hart of Plattsburgh, Joshua Dufford of Charlotte, N.C., and ABEAN Tyler Dufford USN stationed aboard the USS George Washington in Japan.
He was predeceased by his father, John "Dewey" Davidson.
Relatives and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A memorial Mass will follow at Noon at St. Augustine's Church in Peru with Rev. William G. Reamer, celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the CVPH Skilled Nursing Unit, 75 Beekman Street, Plattsburgh, NY, 12901.
