KEESEVILLE — William A. "Bill" McCann, 72, of Mace Chasm Road, formerly of Route 9, Keeseville, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. He was born Kearny, N.J., Feb. 2, 1941, son of William and Kathryn (Houck) McCann.
Bill taught printing at Don Bosco High School in Paterson, N.J., in the sixties and early seventies. After moving to Keeseville in 1973, he worked for Denton Publications for several years. He later established Adirondack Litho in Keeseville, which he operated until 2008.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, and collecting coins.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth C. McCann of Keeseville; two daughters, Elizabeth A. McCann of Tupper Lake, and Kathrine Faulkner of Mount Wolf, Pa.; grandsons, Ty Faulkner, and Damon Faulkner; brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Barbara McCann of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one nephew; and three nieces.
He was predeceased by his father, William J. McCann; and mother and step-father, Kathryn S. and Joseph Smigelskis.
At Williams request there will be no public calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
