PIERCE, FL. - Kenneth T. Jahn, 75, passed away at his home in Fort Pierce, Fla., Dec. 22, 2013. His wife of 56 years, Marlene (Cline) Jahn was at his side. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., March 2, 1938, CMSGT (Ret.) Jahn served in the Air Force for 29 years, and retired at Plattsburgh Air Force Base in 1987. He was a proud American soldier, a loving husband, and a devoted father to four children.
After his distinguished career in the Air Force, he served as Town Supervisor for Peru, N.Y., for 10 years, from 1996 - 2005. He always worked for the betterment of his community, which he loved.
CMSGT (Ret.) Jahn was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Jahn and Dorothy Coates Warner; and his sister, Lorraine Jahn Mitchell. CMSGT (Ret.) Jahn is survived by his wife Marlene (Cline) Jahn formerly of Salina, Kan.; two sons, Tom (Debby) Jahn of Jupiter, Fla., and Don (Tracy) Jahn of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and two daughters, Tammie (Howard) Pittsley of Savannah, Ga., and Denise (Darrell Becht) Baum of Grand Prairie, Texas. He leaves behind eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be missed very much.
