LUTZ, Fla. — Andrew Phillip Kryvanis, 23, of Lutz, Fla. died on April 4, 2013.
He graduated from Beekmantown Central High School in 2007 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Game Develoment from Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla. In 2009. He lived with his girlfriend Catherine who he loved dearly.
He was a Senior Software Engineer who took pride in his ability to explore the science of coding and to continually expand his knowledge in his field. Andrew had a great passion for snowboarding, mountain climbing, computers and his loved ones. He was a highly driven, intelligent, kind, generous and caring man with a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving family, mother Linda Kryvanis; father Robert Kryvanis Jr.; brothers Michael Kryvanis and Jeremy Kryvanis; girlfriend Catherine Hunt; grandmother Gail Kryvanis; nieces Desirea and Lydia; nephews Ryder and Michael; and stepfather Glenn Brawn.
A scholarship fund in his name is being formed for Beekmantown graduating students pursuing a degree in programming/tech. Donations may be sent to the family c/o Linda Kryvanis, 1134 Cumberland Head Road, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on April 13, at the Church of the Nazarene, 187 Broad St., Plattsburgh. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the church.
