---- — PLATTSBURGH — Billie E. Moore, 69, of Aspen Court, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home. He was born in Wharton, WV on May 27, 1944 the son of James Wm. and Angeline (Trusty) Moore. Billie was raised in Kentucky and moved to Plattsburgh in the late 1950's. He married Linda May in Kentucky on Sept. 1, 1962.

Billie worked for Diamond National, which later became Diamond International and later, Pactiv Corporation for 44 years, retiring in 2010.

Billie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Moore of Plattsburgh; three sons, William Moore, Thomas Moore and his wife, Charlene and Brian Moore all of Plattsburgh; nine grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Matt and Randi Moore and Kailin VanValkenberg, Jacob and Joshua Moore, and Lauren and Mary Moore; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; one son, Randy Moore, who died in 1983; his brothers and sisters, James, Arville, June, Edna, Virginia and Fay; and one great grandson, Damien.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH Medical Center.
