Wallace G. "Hap" Allinson

SARANAC — Wallace G. "Hap" Allinson, 73, of Route 3, Saranac, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh, August 5, 1939, the son of Charles Bud and Lois (Manley) Allinson.

Their business spanned more than 30 years. They also co-owned Buds Diner. He was a life member of the VFW, and also served as President of the Saranac Independent Cemetery for several years.

His greatest love was his family; nothing was too big, filling 5,000 water balloons a year, or too small, always having M&Ms to share. When it came to loving his family and making them smile. Hap was cherished for sharing his love, patience, and amazing knowledge of most anything. He was an avid Walt Disney fan. He enjoyed working with his excavating toys.
