---- — MORRISONVILLE — Alfreda B. Dickson, 89, of Rand Hill Road, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Morrisonville on Oct. 3, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Norma (Rock) Baxter. She married Kenneth Gordon on Oct. 17, 1941. Kenneth died in 1962.

Alfreda enjoyed card playing, loved writing poems, cooking, fishing, music, singing, gardening, crafting and giving to others. She especially enjoyed the past four years at the Art LeFevre Senior Housing Facility, spending time with her cousins and friends.

Survivors include two children, Naomi Gordon Mason and her husband Charles of Plattsburgh and David Gordon and his wife Barbara of Peru; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Janice Gordon Deemer; one son, Kevin Dickson; and one sister, Naomi Baxter.

There will be no public calling hours. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with a reception to follow in the Church Hall.
