---- — MORRISONVILLE — Rose M. Furnia, 95, passed away on Oct. 25, 2013, at her daughter Jean Marchiano's home surrounded by the love of her family.

Rose was born on August 20, 1918, the daughter of John and Florence (Seguin) Rabatoy. She enjoyed spending time with family and making crafts. She was famous for her homemade meat pies and macaroni & cheese, enjoyed by all.

Survivors include daughter, Jean Marchiano, daughter, Shirley and son in-law, David LaRocque; son, Robert and daughter in-law, Vickie Furnia; grandchildren, Dana, Laurie, Melissa, Rebecca, Nicole, Kathy, Jason, Shelly, and William; great-grandchildren, Misty, Dana Jr., Robert, Paige, Zachary, Joshua, Connor, James, and Todd; great-great-grandchildren, Suvi and Gavin; sister, Lena Bruce; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Furnia; parents, John & Florence Rabatoy; brothers, Patrick & Clarence Rabatoy; son in-law, Robert Marchiano; and infant grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephanie, and Todd.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home in AuSable Forks, N.Y. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Lake Placid immediately following the funeral service.
