PLATTSBURGH — Mrs. Constance M. Stacy, 92, of Truman Avenue, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Burlington, Vt., on Dec. 18, 1920, the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Jarvis) Steady.
Constance was employed at Hydro Molding for many years and was a member of St. Peter's Church. She was also an avid card player.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James "Jim" and Kathleen Stacy of Round Rock, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Rouleau of Plattsburgh, Nancy and Clyde Anderson of Palm Bay, Fla.; a sister, Joan Richards of Maine; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Dana Steady of Dover, Del., Kenneth and Eleanor Steady of Port Orange, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and several great- grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her husband, James Stacy; her brothers, Eugene, George and Bernard Steady; and a sister, Hazel, passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered in her memory.
