WILLSBORO — William W. Hulse, 67, died at his home in Willsboro on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
He was born in Newark, N.J., on Sept. 12, 1944, the only son of William and Irene (Lacey) Hulse.
Bill, as he was known to everyone, graduated from Willsboro Central School in 1962 and shortly after joined the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the North Country Veterans Assoc., the Willsboro Fish and Game Club, the Board of Directors for the Essex County Agriculture Society, and the Foothills Baptist Church in Boquet. He worked for the Lake Champlain Transportation Co., retiring in 2002.
Bill is survived by his mother, Irene Hulse of Elizabethtown; his wife, Gigi (Alimpolo) Hulse of Willsboro; his son and wife, William and Kristy Hulse of South Carolina; and a granddaughter, Gillian, of South Carolina; his mother-in-law, Merlinda Alimpolo of Willsboro; a nephew and wife and daughter, Tommy and Kim Burke and Kaitlyn of Connecticut.
He was predeceased by his father and his sister, Jeanne Burke.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Huestis Funeral Home, Maple Street, Willsboro. A funeral service will be held at the Foothills Baptist Church, Route 22, Boquet, 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in the Essex County Veterans Cemetery, Wadhams Elizabethtown Road, Wadhams, N.Y.
