Ann Marie Bonneau

CHAMPLAIN — Ann Marie Bonneau, 58, died on Feb. 15, 2013, in the caring arms of her high school sweetheart, best friend, soul mate and husband, Alan Brown.

Ann fought a constant, persistent, and courageous battle with numerous cancers spanning nearly four decades. Ann was born in Holyoke, Mass on Nov. 12, 1954. She moved to Cham plain, N.Y. with her family when she was 13. She at tended St. Mary's Academy, Northeastern Clinton Central High School, and re ceived her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Manage ment and Economics from Empire State Col lege in Albany, N.Y. She worked at Ayerst/Wyeth/Pfizer for 33 years and retired in May, 2010. She was the loving wife and best friend of Alan Brown.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Kara Leigh Bonneau and her husband Monte Mauney from Durham, N.C.; her caring and supportive son, Adam Bonneau from Dallas, Texas; her stepdaughter, Erika Martin and her husband Richard from Wallingford, Conn.; her stepson, Joseph Brown from Fort Myers, Fla.; and her full time devot ed canine companions, her "baby boys" who never left her side, Tucker and Kayzer. Ann is also survived by her father, Lucien Rodier of Rouses Point; her mother, Jeannette Rodier of Plattsburgh; three older brothers, Albert Rodier and his wife and her friend, Joan, of Florida, Robert Rodier and his wife and her friend, Sheila of Plattsburgh, Richard Rodier and his wife Elaine of Florida.; sisters-in-law Ann Davison of Albany, Agnes LaPointe of Binghampton, Rebecca Berry of Plattsburgh; granddaughter, Alynn Martin; and grandson Cullen Martin, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ann was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Rodger Davi son and Harold LaPointe.

Ann loved life, her husband, her children, her family, her friends, and her pets. She loved baking, flowers, camping, jet skiing, and anything outdoors. Her favorite times of the year were the spring and fall because both seasons were filled with color and her laugh was infectious. She brought laugher, joy, care and compassion to many who knew her, yet she chose to keep her health issues private and only shared the details with close family and friends.
