James Morgan Frazier

TICONDEROGA — James Morgan Frazier, 68, of Ticonderoga, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga. Born in Ticonderoga, Feb. 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Morgan Phillip and Marjorie Effadean (Treadway) Frazier.

Mr. Frazier was a lifelong resident of Ticonderoga. He was the owner and operator of the Hideout Bar and Restaurant of Chilson for many years.

He was a graduate of Ticonderoga High School and a member of the school's Sports Hall of Fame. He was also a graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland.

Jim was a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks # 1494, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Sons of the American Legion Post # 224, all of Ticonderoga.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie (Trybendis) Frazier; two sisters, Claire (Robert) Bartlett of Ticonderoga, and Deborah Spicer of Rutland, Vt.; one brother, William (Candee) Frazier of Ticonderoga; and his sister-in-law, Tootie Mends of Witherbee. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Shaundra Bartlett of Saratoga, Cameron Alberalli of Rutland, Vt., Zachary Alberalli of Burlington, Vt, Morgan Frazier of Ticonderoga, David Frazier of Georgia, and Nicole Mends of Colorado Springs.

A Graveside Service will take place in the Spring at the family plot of the Chilson Community Cemetery of Ticonderoga.

Arangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
