MORRISONVILLE — Lucille H. Rabideau, 82, of Route 22B, died on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at her residence.
She was born in Plattsburgh on Feb. 9, 1932, the daughter of Perley J. and Grace H. (Darrah) Rock. She graduated from Morrisonville School and later the Plattsburgh Business Institute in 1953.
Lucille married Harold J. Rabideau at St. Alexander's Church on Sept. 4, 1954. Harold passed away in 2003. She worked for over 30 years as a Medical Transcriber at the old Physicians Hospital and the CVPH Medical Center retiring in 1991. Lucille had also owned and operated local NAPA Auto Parts Stores with her loving husband Harold. She was also a member of St. Alexander's Parish and the Elks Club in Plattsburgh.
Survivors include two sons, Alan L. Rabideau and Chandra and Terry P. Rabideau and Brenda; one daughter, Susan M. Aylward; four grandchildren, Christina M. Aylward, Ryan A. Rabideau and Vanessa, Megan M. Rabideau and Rocco, Christina L. Baker and Brett, Jamie and Shawn Rabideau; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Lucille was predeceased by her husband; her mother and father; one sister, Janet Gibbs; and one brother, Stanley Rock.
At Lucille's request, calling hours and funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Alexander's Cemetery.
