Kevin John Nason

PLATTSBURGH — Kevin John Nason, 48, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and formerly of Burke, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at his home.

Born in Malone, N.Y., Oct. 22, 1964, he is the son of Albert H. and Linda L. Tucker Nason. He graduated from Franklin Academy High School, in Malone, and took many engineering courses on line. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1983 until his discharge in 1986.

Many years ago, Kevin was employed by Atlantic Design in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., as a graphic designer and later by Camoplast, in Plattsburgh, as a technician adviser. For ten years, Kevin was employed by Bombardier Corporation in Plattsburgh, as a supervisor. He was later employed by IBM, in Burlington, Vt., as a computer operator. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, painting, writing poetry and collecting coins. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and New York Yankee fan, and enjoyed restoring his Corvette. Kevin had a great sense of humor and always had a joke on the tip of his tongue.
