PLATTSBURGH — Shirley A. Hart, 75, of Oak Street, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter.
She was born in Saranac Lake, on March 25, 1938, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Trombley) Trombley.
She married George Hart at St. Peter's Church on Oct. 27, 1956. George died July 4, 2004. Mrs. Hart was a member of St. Peter's Church.
Shirley worked as a cook for many area establishments, including the Orange Julip, A & W, Astro Dome, Roman Gardens and more recently at Chazy Orchards.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going to Bingo and the Casino's, knitting and crocheting, Nascar and recently watching "Dancing with the Stars" on TV.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Garsow Deyo and her husband Travis of West Chazy and Diane Bushey and her husband Kevin of West Chazy; one sister, Barbara Infantino and her husband Dennis of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren, Keith Bushey and his fianc^e, Kelley Nephew, Eric and Suzanne Garsow, Jeremy Garsow and his companion Lisa Smart and Heather and Andrew Durrin; great-grandchildren, Austin and Kaylee Garsow and Brody Durrin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; one grandson, Chad Garsow; and her brother, Robert Trombley.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
