HENDERSON, Nev. — Bonnie "Louella" Donoghue, 74, formerly of Syracuse, N.Y., and a resident of Henderson since 2006, passed away and so today, we celebrate the gift of eternal life for a mother, sister but most importantly, a friend who was welcomed home by her Lord and God our Heavenly Father on Feb. 24, 2014, greeted by the love of her life, Dennis Patrick Donoghue, who passed March 22, 2005, and her daughter, Lori Shibley on Dec. 8, 2013.
She was a mom, a devoted wife, a woman of faith and for many years worked in the Insurance Industry in Syracuse before retiring in 1995 to Punta Gorda, Fla. with her husband. In her heart, she treasured most her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and although she was not able to be present in their day-to-day lives, she always thought about each one and loved them very much.
She is survived by so many family and friends, too numerous to mention all of them. Her children are, George A. Donaldson (Bonnie) Central Square, N.Y., Gregg E. Donaldson (Sue) Cato, N.Y., Dennis P. Donoghue Jr. (Denise) Tampa, Fla., Joseph R. Donoghue (Debbie) Adams Center, N.Y., Kathleen M. Salvadore (Joseph) Oswego, N.Y., Kevin J. Donoghue, West Jefferson, Ohio, Kelly C. Donoghue (Karen) Plattsburgh, N.Y., Patricia M. Stangel (Frank) Port Washington, Wis., Gary T Donaldson (Vanessa) Las Vegas, Nev., Colleen M. Wheeler (Keith) Copenhagen, N.Y., Daniel M. Donoghue, San Francisco, Calif.; and her brother, Edwin Baker (Elaine) Martville, N.Y.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m., on March 29, at RFH Hideaway, 1058 County Route 57, Phoenix, NY 13135.
