CROWN POINT — Isabelle J. "Belle" Armstrong, 61, of Crown Point, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, after a short illness. Born in Ticonderoga, May 25, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Swinton and Elsie (Gueyette) Swinton, who survives her, of Crown Point.
Mrs. Armstrong was a lifelong resident of the Adirondack Region. She was a well known Waitress for many years in the Ticonderoga and Crown Point area. Most recently she was employed by Debro's On the Way Cafe of Crown Point.
In addition to her father, Gerald Swinton, she was also pre-deceased by her husband, Kenneth J. Armstrong who passed away on November 20, 2004.
Survivors include her mother, Elsie Swinton of Crown Point; one son, Gerald Armstrong and his wife, Lori of Alamogordo, N.M.; five siblings, Sally Kennedy of Crown Point, Timothy Swinton of Schroon Lake, Randy Swinton of Schroon Lake, Bonnie Hughes of Brant Lake, and David Swinton of South Byron. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Bethany, Caitlin and Samantha; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will take place in the Spring.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
