MINOT, ND — Joan Marie Clendaniel, 78, of Minot, ND, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in a Minot Hospital.
Joan was born on Feb. 17, 1935, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the daughter of Alex and Florence (Dubuque) Timmons. Joan was raised and educated in Plattsburgh and in the late 1990s she moved to Minot to be closer to her family. While living in Minot, Joan resided at Milton Young Towers where she enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, doing crafts, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is Survived by her children, Linda (Jimmy) LaDue, West Chazy, N.Y., Danny Konkoski (Cheryl Seymour), Morrisonville, N.Y., Kathy (Doug) Tucker, Bethel, Del., Terry (Ed) Quist, Sherwood, N.D., and Brenda (Jimmy) Taylor, Milford, Del.; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara (James) Young, Clear Lake, Calif. Joan is preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael LeClaire; granddaughter, Heather LeClaire; grandson, Mathew LaDue and her siblings.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
A private service will take place at a later date. Interment will be at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Peru, NY.
