PLATTSBURGH — Raymond Vincent Dunlavy, 91, of Rouses Point, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. He was born in DeWitt, Iowa on March 14, 1922, son of the late Rose and James Dunlavy.
He married Yvette M. Vincent in Montreal on June 17, 1952, who predeceases him.
He was employed with W.G. Block Co. for 37 years retiring and relocating to Rouses Point, N.Y. in the early 1980's. Raymond was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and received his lifetime status with the Rouses Point Council. He was also a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point.
He is survived by nieces and nephews; and several close friends in the community,
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at St. Patrick's Church, Lake Street, Rouses Point. Burial will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.
