PLATTSBURGH — Robert J. Buskey, 59, of Sandalwood Way, died on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 4, 1954, the son of Richard and Marcella (LaPlante) Buskey.
Robert served our country in the U.S Army from 1974 to 1982. Following his service, he began working as a foreman at Bow Industries in Plattsburgh. Robert was employed there for over 20 years.
He loved cooking, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his loving companion, Sandy.
Survivors include his partner, Sandy Rabideau of Plattsburgh; two sons, Jonathan Buskey and Michael Buskey, both of Plattsburgh; his father, Richard Buskey of Peru, NY; and four siblings, Debi Dubuque and her husband Peter of Plattsburgh, Rickey Buskey and his wife Connie of Plattsburgh, Kevin Buskey and his wife Karen of Virginia, and Melissa Puchalski and her husband Daniel of Plattsburgh. Robert was predeceased by his mother, Marcella.
Arrangements will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court St., Plattsburgh.
