KEESEVILLE — Marion I. Hart, 73, of Pleasant Street, Keeseville, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh, Oct. 21, 1940, the daughter of Fabian and Julia (Mitchell) Blaise. Marion was a 1958 graduate of Plattsburgh High School. She spent many years working in the healthcare field. Most recently she worked at the Clinton County Nursing Home as Director of Acitivies. She retired in 2000.
She was a communicant of St. John's Church in Keeseville. Marion enjoyed decorating her home, and caring for her gardens, but her true love was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dale Hart; children and spouses, Kimberley and Christopher Benway, Robert Belanger, Melissa Belanger and companion Jerry McGee, John Belanger and companion Michelle, and David and Michele Belanger; grandchildren, Bryan and Katie Benway, Aimee Belanger, Jarrod and Rachel Estes, Benjamin Delaney, Brad Belanger, Teddy and Michael, and Mathew and Nathan Belanger; close sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; three very special "adopted grandchildren", Becca, Ayla, and Caymen Jahn; three very special nieces, Julie Rock, Jill Wells, and Bonnie LaFountain; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Ruth Barber, Hilda and Paul Trombley, and Bud and Sally Blaise.
Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Keeseville following a 9 a.m. Mass. on Friday, May 2, at the Immaculate Conception Church.
