FORT ANN — David H. Arno, 72, a longtime resident of Kent, Conn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at the Glens Falls Hospital, with his family by his side.
Born on Feb. 18, 1941 in Ellenburg, N.Y., he was the son of the late Homer J. and Rose (Hebert) Arno.
David was a farmer all his life. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his wife, Mary D. Arno; and his sons, David D. Arno and Dennis Arno.
Survivors include his three children, John M. Arno and his wife Noelle of Kent, Conn., James M. Arno and his wife Alisa, also of Kent, Conn. and Denise (Arno) Rudenko and her husband Bill of Fort Ann, N.Y.; his 14 grandchildren; his two great-grandchildren; his brothers, Ron Arno of Wassaic, N.Y. and Dean Bouyea of Millbrook, N.Y.; his sister, Gloria Bird of Ariz.; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Bridge Street in Kent, Conn. Following the Funeral Mass, there will be a gathering at the Wasabi Restaurant, Route 7 in Kent, Conn., for the immediate family.
