PORT HENRY - Edward J. Wojewodzic, 60, of Port Henry passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at his home. He was born July 12, 1953, in Ticonderoga, the son of Frank and Stella (Halaburda) Wojewodzic. He graduated from Moriah Central School in 1971.
Ed enjoyed fishing and watching football with his brothers, Mike and Pete; his nephews, Boomer (Ward), Norman, and Don; and his friend, Mike Dever. He always had a big grin while watching his team go on to victory. He loved the N.Y. Giants and the N.Y. Yankees. His greatest joy was his lovefor his son, Edward; and his daughter, Emily. He loved his special nieces and nephews and was always making sure everyone was okay.
Ed was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Stella(Halaburda) Wojewodzic. Survivors include his son, Edward; his daughter, Emily; his brother, Michael and his wife Carlene (Perry) Wojewodzic; his sister, Stephanie and her husband Ward Hanchett; and his brother, Frank (Pete) Wojewodzic. We will miss him dearly.
At Edward's request, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of Ed's life will be held at a later date.
