Beverly Gail Everhart

PLATTSBURGH — Mrs. Beverly Gail Everhart, 72, of Military Turnpike, in Plattsburgh passed away Monday May 13, 2013, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake with her entire family at her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, Sept. 10, 1940, the daughter of Robert and Wilma (Desso) Barber.

After Graduating from Beekmantown High School Beverly worked as a Medical Office Assistant for Dr. Nello Delbell working as part of a team that brought many local babies into the world. Later in life she worked as a Nurses Aide and a Home Health Aid helping the elderly in their homes.

Beverly lived a life full of helping others from her employment right straight through to her love of making crafts for all the people that mattered in her life. She brought many joyful years to those she encountered including family and friends. We will all miss her tremendously!

She is predeceased by her husband George J. Everhart who passed in 2005. She is survived by her son, Christopher; and brothers, Roland and Robert Barber.

Upon cremation provided by Brown Funeral Home in partnership with Whispering Maples Crematory there will be a private graveside memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, open to all that knew and cared about her at Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh. There she will be laid to rest alongside her husband George. This short service will be followed by a private food festival meant for consoling all family with High Calorie Homemade Goodness, just as Beverly would have wanted.

Any donations in her memory can be made to Hassett Adult Day Care services at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home located in Plattsburgh. Finally a special thanks is offered to all the family and friends that did all they could to comfort and inspire during such a difficult final transition. Know that you were all loved and cherished each in unique ways for all experiences that were shared throughout life and even in death.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY, 12901 (518) 561-3980. Online condolences and memorial candles may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com
