CROWN POINT — Jacqueline F. Ambra, 83, of Crown Point and formerly of Hague and Irvington, N.Y., died peacefully on June 19, 2013, at the Glens Falls Hospital.
The daughter of the late Reynolds and Milreal Fitzpatrick Fowler, she was married for 51 years to the late Paul Ambra.
Mrs. Ambra was educated in Westchester and retired in 1987 after more than 20 years with General Foods in Tarrytown.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frank R. Fowler and by her niece Jacqueline Fowler Byers.
Survivors include her beloved nieces and nephews, Elaine LeFloch (George), Richard Beaudreault (Andriana), Diane Fowler (Ken), Frank Fowler II (Jane) and Joan Fowler Thomas (Bill); and by her many great-nieces; and great-nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pam Grogan and Phil Mondello, who provided her with enormous peace in her final days.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, in the First Methodist Church of Ticonderoga, 1045 Wicker St., Ticonderoga, N.Y.
