PLATTSBURGH — Tammy Lee Bousquet, 50, of McGaulley Avenue, Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Plattsburgh on Feb. 9, 1963, the daughter of Wayne and Etta (Lombard) Bousquet.
Tammy graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1981. She worked at the Social Club at Behavioral Health Services Network in Plattsburgh and was a member of the American Humane Society.
Tammy is survived by a daughter, Jessica Desourdy-Leclair; three grandchildren, Canyon, Shanika and Malakai Arroyo, all of Plattsburgh; her stepmother Nancy (Rice) Bousquet of Hoosick Falls; three brothers; Terry Bousquet and his wife Linda of Beekmantown, Edward Bousquet and companion Karen Campbell of Morrisonville, John Bousquet and his wife Sandy of Beekmantown; three sisters; Gladys Trudeau of Morrisonville, Lois Brown and her husband Allen of Treadwells Mills; Tina Wood of Plattsburgh; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive her.
She is predeceased by her parents; a grandchild, Carmen Arroyo; an uncle, Warren Bousquet; and a brother-in-law, Robert Trudeau, Jr.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Chazy. Memorial donations may be offered to the Adirondack Humane Society.
