PLATTSBURGH - Mary Lynn Cumm, 54, died on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center surrounded by her family following a long illness.
She was born June 26, 1959, in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Kenneth (Joe) Cumm and Barbara (Sweeney) Cumm of Dannemora.
Before her illness she worked as the head cashier for a short period of time at Hills Department Store in Plattsburgh. Mary Lynn enjoyed going out to dinner, shopping, and she took great joy in her beloved dog, Casey.
Mary Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Barb Cumm; maternal grandparents, Alvina and Curtis Bill; and paternal grandparents, Josephine and Eli Cumm.
She is survived by her loving and devoted fianc^, Elvis J. Rasco of Plattsburgh; her brother, Tom Cumm and his wife Lynn of Gansevoort, N.Y.; her sister, Tina Gray and her husband Gordy of Merrimack, N.H.; her daughter, Deanna Bohl and her husband, Eric; two granddaughters, Alayna and Evelyn, all of Odenton, Md.; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff of the ICU unit at CVPH Medical Center for their compassionate care during Mary Lynn's recent hospitalization.
