PLATTSBURGH — Gail C. Zimmerman-St. Louis, 47, of Alana Way, Plattsburgh, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
She was born Rockville Centre, NY, on Long Island, July 25, 1965, the daughter of Eugene and Joan (Schilling) Morehouse.
Gail was a writer for several local newspapers and other publications. Writing was her passion. She also enjoyed visiting local garage sales. She was a member of the Plattsburgh Moose Lodge # 2390.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald E. St. Louis, whom she married, Oct. 9, 2011; two daughters, Natosha Racette, her husband Jared and their children, Ethan and Caitlyn, and Jamie Fournier and her daughter, Scarlet; parents Eugene and Joan Morehouse of Plattsburgh; two aunts, Patricia Meyer of Mineola, N.Y., and Betty Jean Morehouse of Brant Lake; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends may gather from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at The First Baptist Church, 38 Oak Street, Plattsburgh. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at The First Baptist Church, with Rev. James R. Horton Jr., Interim Pastor, officiating.
