---- — Alyssa Crockett of Plattsburgh received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College. She completed clinical internships at United Health Outpatient Clinic in Rochester; Towanda Memorial Hospital in Towanda, Penn.; Champlain Valley Educational Services in Plattsburgh; and Kessler Inpatient Rehabilitation Center in Chester, N.J. She is the daughter of Van and Kim Crockett and a 2007 graduate of Plattsburgh High School.

Several area students have been named to the Dean’s List at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. They are Tiffani Lacey of Morrisonville, Mia Queguiner of Plattsburgh, Emily Plumadore of AuSable Forks, Kaitlin Kirkby of Willsboro, Wesley Aubin of Plattsburgh, Nicole Durnin of Lyon Mountain, Dylan Godlin of Saranac, Raelyn Passino of Peru, Amanda Rabideau of Mooers Forks, Nathan LaFave of Mooers, Jenna McGreevy of Wilmington, Jennifer Bechard of Champlain and Anthony Changelo of Rouses Point.

The following Class of 2015 students at St. Lawrence University, Canton, are participating in the International Study Program for the fall semester: Nicholas O. Edwards of Lake Placid, a member of the Class of 2015, is majoring in environmental studies-biology, a graduate of Northwood School; Kayla J. Hebert of Keene Valley, a member of the Class of 2015, majoring in psychology and history, a graduate of Keene Central School; Brittany R. McDonald of Altona, psychology major; and Maria R. Trummer of Saranac Lake, major in government and Francophone studies, graduate of Saranac Lake High School.

Brian Drollette, son of David and Melinda Drollette of Cumberland Head, graduated cum laude from SUNY Plattsburgh with a major in environmental science and a minor in hydrogeology. He was a Presidential Scholar, enrolled in the Honors Program, on the Dean’s List for six semesters, received the Provost’s Award twice, the Presidential Award for Student Excellence and the Outstanding Graduating Senior in environmental science. He was track and field captain, on the SUNYAC All-Academic team, the SUNYAC Commissioner’s list and received the Richard D. Semmler Scholar Athlete Academic award. He was inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, the Pi Kappa Pi Honor Society and the Chi Alpha Sigma National Athlete Honor Society. He was also a Minor Applied Environmental Science Program commencement speaker and has been accepted into the civil and environmental engineering Ph.D. program at Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University, Durham, N.C., on a graduate fellowship.

Area residents who graduated from Siena College, Loudonville, in May include Shaniqua Dunn of Plattsburgh, bachelor’s degree in social work; Nathanael LePage of Peru, bachelor’s degree in Spanish and French; and Riana Millington of Ticonderoga, bachelor’s degree in management.

 

Brianne Y. Oricchio, daughter of Thomas and Kimberly Oricchio, graduated from Emma Willard School in Troy. She was a peer ed for her dorm, a school tour guide, played in the orchestra and varsity lettered in three sports. She was an Academic All-American in lacrosse. She has been accepted into the six-year PhD program for physical therapy at Nazareth College, along with the Honors Program.

 

Alyssa Menard of Rouses Point has received a $725 Jennie Crecraft Olsen Award from SUNY Fredonia. A 2010 graduate of Northeastern Clinton Central School, Menard is a senior majoring in communications-video production. She is the daughter of Dale and Lisa Menard.
