PLATTSBURGH — A local man was injured when his car struck a tree Saturday morning.
Roosevelt Williams, 77, of Plattsburgh was driving out of St. Peter’s Cemetery on South Catherine Street at about 10:10 a.m. when he hit a tree. He was taken to CVPH Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.
No tickets were issued.
BLACK BROOK — A Saranac man, injured in a Black Brook accident April 4, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
Steven B. Siskavich, 49, of Saranac, was driving on Silver Lake Road at about 5 p.m. when he drove off the road and struck a tree, according to Plattsburgh-based State Police.
Siskavich was taken to CVPH Medical Center for treatment. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and ticketed for traffic violations, police said.
