PERSONAL-INJURY ACCIDENTS

PLATTSBURGH — One person was injured in a two-car accident Friday.

At about 3:50 p.m., Samuel McCoy, 48, of Mooers Forks, was headed west on Cornelia Street when his vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle stopped in traffic, driven by John Thwaits, 60, of AuSable Forks, according to Plattsburgh City Police.

Jari Snow-Thwaits, 52, of AuSable Forks, a passenger in Thwaits’s vehicle, was transported to CVPH with complaint of neck pain, police said.

McCoy was ticketed for following too closely.

FELONIES

PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was arrested for felony criminal mischief Friday afternoon.

Akash Tarar, 19, allegedly damaged the passenger side of a vehicle parked on City Hall Place with dents and scratches, Plattsburgh City Police said.

Tarar was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony, and was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Cour, police said.
