Franklin County Court: Nov. 26, 2012

Cases heard before Judge Robert G. Main Jr.:

Raymond Garrand, 51, of North Bangor was sentenced to five years probation with the first six months in County Jail for felony driving while intoxicated, stemming from an incident March 23.

He was also ordered to pay a $2,500 fine.

Wesley Strack, 30, of Saranac Lake was sentenced to five years probation with the first six months in County Jail for third-degree criminal mischief, stemming from an incident April 26.

He pleaded guilty to Superior Court Information rather than a formal grand-jury indictment after being arrested for second-degree burglary and one count each of third-degree and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Tommy Beam, 22, of North Bangor pleaded not guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident Nov. 10, 2011.

A conference is set for Nov. 29.

Nancy Nixon, 35, of Saranac Lake pleaded not guilty to second-degree arson, stemming from an incident May 23.

She was taken to County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 insurance bond to return to court Nov. 29.

Cases heard before Acting County Court Judge David Demerest:

Renee Nadeau, 52, of Tupper Lake pleaded not guilty to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident March 1.

A conference was set for Dec. 20.

Bonnie Reid, 58, of Tupper Lake pleaded not guilty to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident March 1.
