Plates
Please tell me what else can DMV hit us up for? Now they're saying that our license plates aren't reflective enough. We will now have to pay a $25 fee for new ones and $20 to keep your plate number. I could see if my plate didn't look brand new, but it does. If an officer wants to see my plate, he shines his light on it, right? If my vehicle is running, my plate light illuminates my plate or I get a ticket. I have headlights, tail lights, running lights; why a reflective plate?

Tea Party
I agree with the comment that our Tea Party people are well dressed and well behaved. They are also led by a man who has made his living obtaining government grants and special tax exemptions for his clients, not for free, by the way. The only other name I have seen published with this group is a realtor who might have sold a house or two to people with government-subsidized mortgages. Bet there's farmers (subsidies), government employees (taxpayer paid) etc. in this group. Is government spending only wasteful when they don't benefit or when a Democrat is president?

Obama
Obama's agenda seems to be to take from the rich and give to the poor. Helping others is a good thing, but at what point does the giving become an entitlement rather than temporary help? When do the gifts become an obstacle to independence and a reliance on public assistance? Are there better giving practices that would help and support self-reliance rather than lives spent living on the welfare rolls? Are the Democrats' gifts to those in need actually an entrapment leading to a life of poverty?

Road
I'm writing in reference to the road on Cumberland Head near Cumberland Bay Market. I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that feels the way I do and make it a two-way road instead of one-way road. It seems like a waste of time with the way it is.
