Moira man charged with Internet theft

— MOIRA — A man faces two felony charges after allegedly offering a product that he never delivered.
Malone-based State Police arrested Nicholas J. Brockway, 27, of 59 Pine St., Moira for allegedly selling computer servers that he didn’t deliver.
A police investigation found that Brockway, listed as president of the Jaguar Family of Companies, listed computer servers for sale on the Internet.
One company, Atlantix Global, based in Georgia, ordered 15 computer servers in August 2008 and paid a $25,000 deposit to Brockway. State Police said the company never received any servers.
The investigation also revealed Trinicomp Systems, based in Massachusetts, allegedly paid $3,500 for a computer server it never received, police said.
Brockway was charged Friday with two counts of third-degree grand larceny.
He was arraigned in Moira Town Court and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
The investigation is continuing.
