— LAVENE — A Mass of Christian burial for Margaret "Aggie" B. LaVene, 92, of Route 22B, Morrisonville, who died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at her home, was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1, at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Scott Seymour, Pastor and assisted by Deacon Marvin Connor. The altar servers were David Pereira, Ray Turbide and Robert Mertz. The pianist was Wanda Haby, accompanied by the parish choir. The pall was placed by her son Wayne Corbiere and brother Marvin Stacy. The crucifix was placed by her son Wayne Corbiere and the Bible was placed by granddaughter, Lisa Garrow. The reader was Marlin Pereira. The pall bearers were Francis Corbiere, Wayne Corbiere, Fred LaVene, William LaVene, and David Hathaway. Burial will be later in the year in the parish cemetery.
