Sally F. Carey

PLATTSBURGH — CAREY — A Mass of Christian burial for Sally F. Carey, 84, who was called to eternal life on Jan. 8, 2013, at Albany Memorial Hospital, with her children at her side, was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. John's Church. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Timothy Canaan, Pastor, Rev. William Reamer and Rev. Normand Cote. The altar servers were Josie Garrant, Sherman Luck and Ken Racette. The organist was George Cantin and cantor was Mary Catherine Jadlos. The pall was placed by her children, J.D., Colleen, Mary Pat, Joseph and Sally Ann. The crucifix was placed by her son Joseph. The Rosary was placed by her daughter Colleen. The readers were sons-in-law Gregory Sullivan and Steven Miranda. The Gospel was proclaimed by Deacon Jack Cogan. The offertory gifts were presented by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Words of remembrance were shared by her son Joseph. The pall bearers were Patrick Sullivan, Kevin Carey, Brendan Carey, Bryce Carey, Sam Beaulac and Douglas Carey. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Lake Placid at a later date.
