RACINE - A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, at St. Mary's Church in Champlain for Gladys (Boulerice) Racine, 92, of Hayford Road, Champlain, who peacefully died in her sleep at home on June 9, surrounded by her family. The Rev. James Delbel, Pastor, celebrated the Mass and was assisted by Deacon Laszlo Ivanits. Altar servers were Alisyn Blaine and Alex Boire. Organist was Steve Burkey who was accompanied by vocalist, Mitch Willette. A special song was sung and played by granddaughter Monique Monette. The gifts were presented to the altar by granddaughters Monique Monette and Janet Pineda. Gladys' daughter Jeanne Casaverde offered Remarks of Remembrance. Pallbearers were Daniel Monette, Jose Casaverde, Rubin Casaverde, Pablo Casaverde, Leon Garrand and Roy Racine. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery, where Deacon Ivanits read committal prayers. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm St., Champlain.
