CHAPMAN — A Mass of Christian burial was concelebrated Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, from John XXIII Newman Center in Plattsburgh, for Jane Buckley Chapman, 96, who passed away Monday, Feb. 3, under the loving care of her daughter Meredith O'Connor and son-in-law Dr. Michael O'Connor. Rev. Timothy Canaan, Pastor of John XXIII Newman Center and St. John's Church in Plattsburgh, and the Rev. Daniel Keefe, retired, concelebrated the funeral Mass assisted by Deacon Jack Cogan. Altar servers were Ed Conroy, Tom Rennell and Mike Wiliford. Pianist and soloist was Jay Lesage. Michael O'Connor and Christopher O'Connor placed the pall. Meredith O'Connor placed the Crucifix. Michael O'Connor gave words of remembrance of Jane's life. Michael O'Connor and Christopher O'Connor read from scripture. Meagan McComb and Kristin O'Connor presented the gifts. Pallbearers were her son-in-law, Dr. Michael O'Connor; grandsons Michael O'Connor and Christopher O'Connor; and nephew, Andrew Prescott.
