BOUSQUET - A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday, September 20, from St. James Church in Cadyville for Alfred "Al" "Grampie" Bousquet, 78, of the Goddeau Road, Cadyville, N.Y. who died Tuesday, Sept. 17, at his home. Msg. Lawrence Deno, Pastor of St. James Church celebrated the Mass, concelebrated by Msgr. Leeward Poissant, Pastor of the Catholic Community of Keeseville and Rev. William Reamer, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church and Chaplain at CVPH Medical Center. They were assisted by John Miner. Scripture readings were by John Miner. Organist was George Shnob. Al's granddaughters Elizabeth Collotta, Olivia and Adelia Bousquet as well as Todd St. Louis gave remarks of remembrance of Al's life. Pallbearers were Dean Collotta, Nick Collotta, John Welch and Rob Hugus. Major Richard C. Smith, Troop B Commander presented the United States Flag, which flew over Troop B Headquarters the day Al passed away. The honor guard for Al included several law enforcement agencies: The NYS Troopers, NYS Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Clinton County Sheriff's Department, Plattsburgh City Police Department, Border Patrol and Rouses Point Police Department.
