---- — HAMEL - A Mass of Christian burial for Dale Roger Hamel, 60, of Granger, Ind., who died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Peter's Church. The Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Dennis Duprey, Pastor, concelebrated by Msgr. Joseph Aubin, retired, Rev. William Reamer, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church and assisted by Deacon Barth Bracy and Joseph Swinyer. The Eucharistic Ministers were Linda Bracy and Mary Beth Bracy. The organist was George Shnob. The greeters were Jenn Reisig, Evan Bracy and James Bracy II. The pall was placed by Adam Hamel, Travis Hamel, Derek Hamel and Darren Bracy. The crucifix was placed by his mother, Lillian Rizzie. The readers were Carlton Rizzie and Danielle Hamel. Prayer of the Faithful was led by Chattie Hatfield. The offertory gifts were presented by Sonya Hamel and Emily Manley. Words of Remembrance were shared by Dawn Hamel Manley, Deborah Hamel Allen and Derek Hamel. The pallbearers were Travis Hamel, Sarah Deisinger, Adam Hamel, Dawn Hamel Manley, Deborah Hamel Allen, Derek Hamel, Dustin Hamel, and Darren Bracy. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery in Redford where Deacon Ed Mazuchowski read committal prayers.
