James R. Bracken

BRACKEN - A memorial Mass for James R. Bracken, 67, of Valley View Drive, Keeseville, was celebrated Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11 AM at St. John's Church in Keeseville. Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant, parish pastor, celebrated. Altar server was Harvey LeCuyer. Organist was Carol Bachand. Readers were stepson-in-law, John Moschos; and stepsons, Wayne Armstrong, and Mike Armstrong. The Eucharistic gifts were presented by family friends, Doris Martino, and Helen Worley. Words of remembrance were offered by Juanita Moschos. Pallbearers were family friends, Tom McNierney, Ron Hough, Roger Dorr, and John Champine Sr. Honor guard was provided by correction officers from Clinton Correction Facility in Dannemora. The State Flag was presented by Lt. Steven Jennett. A gathering followed at the Keeseville VFW Post 1505. Burial was private at St. Augustine's Cemetery in Peru.
