---- — BOUYEA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita H. Bouyea, 85, of Independence Drive, Plattsburgh, who died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center, was celebrated at noon Saturday, May 18, at St. Peter's Church. The Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Dennis Duprey, Pastor and concelebrated by Rev. Timothy Canaan, Pastor of St. John's Church, Rev.William Reamer, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church and CVPH chaplain, and Msgr. Joseph Aubin, retired. The altar server was Dan Shusda. The organist was George Shnob. The pall was placed by her children Brian Bouyea, Bonnie Barrett and Rebecca Ketcham. The crucifix was placed by her husband William Bouyea. The readers were her daughter Rebecca Ketcham and granddaughter Kristie Barrett. The offertory gifts were presented by grandsons Peter Barrett and Jonathan Ketcham. The St. Peter's Rosary and Altar Society formed an honor guard. The pall bearers were Jonathan Ketcham, Peter Barrett, Bethany Barrett, Kristie Barrett, Katie Ketcham and Elizabeth Bouyea. Burial followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, where Msgr. Duprey read committal prayers. Arrangements were entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, New York 12901 (518) 561-3980.
