---- — ROUSES POINT — Hale O. Wilson Jr., 86, of Priscilla Lane, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 15, 1927, the son of Hale and Ethel (Lewis) Wilson.

Hale served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1946. He worked as a clerk for D & H Railroad and later as a computer programmer at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jane Chandler of Rouses Point; one brother-in-law, Joel Chandler of Burlington, Vt.; two nieces, Lori Benson of Onset, Mass., and Tracy Chandler French of Essex, Vt.; four nephews, James W. Chandler of Key West, Fla., C. Chandler Petch of Brockville, Ontario, Canada, Christopher J. Petch of Alberta, Canada and William M. Petch of Belleville, Ontario, Canada; and four cousins, Suzanne C. Carey and Barbara B. Chandler both of Peachtree City, Ga., Dr. Joseph Caron of Lola, Kansas, and John J. Caron of Leominister, Mass.

There will be no public calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, in Maples Hill Cemetery in Rouses Point.
