MINEVILLE — Harry W. Clark Jr., 81, formerly of Mineville, N.Y., passed away on May 6, 2014, after a long illness. He was born on June 20, 1932, in Port Henry, N.Y., the son of Harry W. Clark Sr. and Stella Marie Plumadore.
He leaves behind his wife of 10 years, Vivian D. Clark of Putnam, Conn.; four children, Thomas J Clark and partner Chad E. Fountain of Port Henry, N.Y., Timothy W. Clark and wife Marlene of E. Killingly, Conn., Pamela M. Bednarz and husband Michael of E. Killingly, Conn., Harry W. Clark III and wife Marianne of Ticonderoga, N.Y.; step-son, Pete Corey of Danielson, Conn.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Clark was predeceased by his first wife, Vivian M. Clark and grandson, Harry W. Clark IV both of Mineville.
He is also survived by two sisters, Gladys Rock of Keesville, N.Y., and Barbara Miner of Port Henry, N.Y.
Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed at Frontier Town in North Hudson, N.Y., before retiring. He also worked at Dukettes Store for many years as well as Republic Steel Mines.
In his spare time Mr. Clark enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars. He also loved to watch wrestling and playing Pinochle.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at All Saints Church in Mineville, NY.
