Mary G. Allen

PLATTSBURGH — Mary G. Allen, 67, of evergreen Valley Nursing home and formerly of Roderick Rock Apartments in Morrisonville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born Sept. 13, 1945, in Dannemora, daughter of the late Fredrick and Helen (Agony) Imhoff.

She worked for the Imperial Wall Paper Mill for 29 years, retiring when it closed. Mary enjoyed hunting, fishing, Elvis Presley, traveling to Maine for Lobster, family picnics and WWE Wrestling. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Mary is survived by four children, Cloyd Parrott and his wife Debbie of Plattsburgh, Darlene VanHouten of Plattsburgh, Lisa Scholl and her husband Rick of Dannemora, Charles Parrott and his wife Tammy of Plattsburgh; siblings, Wanda "Pat" Cato, Delena Kaatz, Roger Imhoff, Dave Imhoff, Barbara Parrott, Denis Imhoff and Bobby Imhoff; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Allen; five brothers, Michael, Gerald, Jeff, Eddie and Sonny; and one sister, Sylvia.

There will be no public calling hours. The family will receive guests from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 16, at the home of her daughter Darlene in Plattsburgh. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
