Sentences handed down in Franklin County Court

---- — MALONE — A number of sentences were handed down in Franklin County Court recently.

Christopher Randall, 17, of Brooklyn Road, North Lawrence was sentenced to one and a third to four years in state prison for third-degree burglary, stemming from an incident Feb. 29. He was also ordered to pay $500 in restitution.

Daniel Manley, 24, of Malone was sentenced to five years probation, with the first six months in County Jail, for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident Sept. 14, 2011. He was also ordered to pay $100 in restitution.

Shelly Nason, 52, of Malone was sentenced to five years probation, with the first six months in County Jail, for third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident July 31. She was also ordered to pay $200 in restitution.

Albert Sembera, 24, of Sequin, Texas, was sentenced to five years probation for third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance and attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident May 11, 2011. He was also ordered to pay $310 in restitution and was fined $2,000.

Grace Miola, 23, of Chateaugay pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from incidents in February, May and June. Sentencing is set for Jan. 7.

Brent Beach, 48, of Owls Head was sentenced to five years probation, with the first six months in County Jail, for third-degree criminal mischief, stemming from an incident May 24. He was also ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $1,100 in restitution.

Jeremy Russell, 40, of Brushton was sentenced to two years in state prison for second-degree attempted burglary, stemming from an incident Oct. 16, 2011. He was also ordered to serve three years of post-release supervision and pay a $2,500 fine.

Mark Perry, 49, of North Bangor was sentenced to five years probation, with the first two months in County Jail, for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident June 19. He was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $75 in restitution.

Leigh Perry, 29, of North Bangor was sentenced to five years probation, with the first six months in County Jail, for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident June 19. She was also ordered to pay $125 in restitution.

Shawn Woods, 38, of North Bangor pleaded guilty as a second-felony offender to second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, stemming from an incident Oct. 2, 2011. He was released under the supervision of the Probation Department to await sentencing Dec. 3.
