LEFEVRE - A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday, July 18, 2013, from St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville for Marielle E. LeFevre, 84, who died Monday, July 15, at her home. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Scott Seymour, Pastor, concelebrated by Rev. William Gordon, retired, Msgr. Lawrence Deno, Pastor of St. James Church in Cadyville, Rev. Clyde Lewis, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point, Rev. William Reamer, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church and CVPH Chaplain, and assisted by Deacon Marvin Conner, David Pereira, Gerard Turbide and Robert Mertz. Organist was Ben Reavis. Soloist was Mitch Willette. Beth Mickalonis, Erin Pettorgasso, Amanda Wright, Janell Sheilds, Emily LeFevre and Nichole LeFevre placed the pall. Art LeFevre placed the rosary and crucifix. Jackie LaFevre and Jason Merrill read from scripture. Mary Sayward and Sue Wright presented the gifts. Meg LeFevre gave remarks of remembrance of Marielle's life. Pallbearers were Chris LeFevre, Matthew LeFevre, Bobby LeFevre, Mitchell LeFevre, Hayden LeFevre and Michael Shields. The Ladies of St. Alexander and St. Joseph formed an honor guard. Burial followed in St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville, where Rev. Scott Seymour read committal prayers.
