SARANAC LAKE — A Saranac Lake teen faces two felony charges after she allegedly assaulted a man with a knife early Thursday.
Alissa R. Tucker, 19, of Saranac Lake was arrested following a report of a person with a knife wound at a local residence, according to a news release from Saranac Lake Police Department.
Police said an investigation revealed Tucker remained inside the apartment after being told numerous time to leave.
She then allegedly assaulted the apartment’s tenant by cutting him with a knife during a struggle, police said.
Tucker was to be in possession of a hypodermic instrument upon her arrest, police said.
She was charged with first-degree burglary, a felony; second-degree assault, a felony; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor; and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor.
Tucker was arraigned in Saranac Lake Village Court and sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
PLATTSBURGH — A Chazy man was charged with assault Wednesday.
On May 16, Dylan Dumas was allegedly involved in an altercation in the Town of Plattsburgh that left a person with serious injuries that required treatment at a hospital, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
Dumas was charged with second-degree assault, a felony.
He was arraigned in Schuyler Falls Town Court and sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
Dumas is scheduled to reappear in Plattsburgh Town Court at a later date.
MALONE — A Manhattan man was charged with introducing dangerous prison contraband June 3.
Christian Moultrie, 25, was arrested at the New York State Police Malone barracks the morning of June 3, according to a State Police blotter entry.
Moultrie was charged with first-degree introducing dangerous prison contraband, a felony.
The incident was reported to State Police on Jan. 26, according to the blotter entry.
No further information was available Thursday.
PLATTSBURGH — A 15-year-old Plattsburgh teen was injured when he was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon, Plattsburgh City Police said.
At about 2:26 p.m., the Cameron Kirkey was walking on Rugar Street just east of Sandra Avenue when he walked into the front in front of a vehicle driven by Christopher Bushey, 22, of Plattsburgh, police said.
Bushey’s vehicle struck Kirkey, police said.
Kirkey was taken by Plattsburgh City Fire Department EMS to CVPH Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening leg injuries, police said.
The cause of the accident appears to be pedestrian error, police said.
No tickets were issued.
